Here is a wonderful light, fragrant, floral elderflower prosecco cocktail recipe, the ultimate refreshing summer cocktail to enjoy perfect to serve and drink at a summer garden party.
Serves 8
Ingredients
180ml elderflower cordial
750ml Prosecco bottle
1/2 large cucumber
300ml sparkling water
A small handful of fresh mint leaves
2 limes, cut into wedges
Ice cubes, to serve
Instructions
1. Slice the cucumber lengthways, then scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon, peel the cucumber into long thin ribbons.
2. In the 8 glasses fill with ice cubes, divide the elderflower cordial, prosecco and sparkling water equally among the glasses, then add the cucumber ribbons and fresh mint leaves.
3. Squeeze over the lime wedges, then drop them into the glasses and swirl to mix. Serve.
