Lead times

Current Deelux lead times & delivery schedule

The short answer: most Deelux kitchens run 8–12 weeks from signed order to installed kitchen. Add 3–4 weeks of discovery and design before that if you’re counting from your first showroom visit. In-frame and hand-painted ranges (Falconbrook, Mollingdon) run 10–14 weeks.

Live lead times for new Deelux kitchens, broken down week by week so you know exactly when to book your home survey if you want to be cooking in your new kitchen by a specific date.

Week-by-week timeline for a typical Deelux kitchen

The 8–12 week headline number covers manufacture and install only. Add 3–4 weeks of discovery and design on the front end if you’re counting from your first showroom visit.

  1. Week 0

    Discovery & showroom visit

Book a free appointment at Chester, Nantwich or Warrington. We’ll talk through how you cook, how many people use the kitchen at peak times, your budget range and any architectural constraints. No deposit, no commitment — this is a conversation, not a sales pitch.

  2. Week 1

    Home survey & laser measurement

A Deelux designer visits your home with a laser measure, captures the room properly (including ceiling slopes, window reveals, soil pipes and existing services) and takes away the brief. This is the survey that catches what a sketch on your phone can’t.

  3. Weeks 2–3

    First 3D visuals

Your designer produces photoreal 3D visuals — not a 2D plan — showing cabinetry, colour, worktop, lighting and appliances in your actual room. You’ll walk through it on screen at the showroom and start iterating.

  4. Weeks 3–4

    Design revisions & final quote

Most kitchens take two to three revision rounds before sign-off. We’ll tweak layout, swap doors, re-spec appliances, move the island, try a different worktop. Every round comes with fresh 3D visuals. The final quote is all-inclusive — supply, installation, electrics, plumbing, plastering and decoration.

  5. Week 4

    Signed order & manufacture begins

Deposit paid, drawings signed, your kitchen enters the Winsford factory queue. From this point the timeline is fixed.

  6. Weeks 5–10

    Manufacture in Winsford

Andy and the factory team build your cabinets — 18 mm MFC carcasses, Blum soft-close hinges and runners, hand-painted doors if your range is in-frame or Shaker. Every carcass is built by Andy personally. Worktop templating is booked for week 9 or 10.

  7. Week 10

    Delivery & install begins

Our in-house fitting team removes your old kitchen (disposed of responsibly), first-fixes electrics and plumbing, then begins cabinet installation. You’ll have a temporary kitchen plan agreed before this week.

  8. Weeks 10–12

    Worktop, appliances, finishing

Worktop templated on installed cabinets (this is why the stone arrives after the cabinets, not before), appliances fitted and tested, plastering, tiling and decoration. Final snag walk with your designer. Keys back.

What can extend the timeline

Our 8–12 week headline assumes standard specification. Any of the following will push the programme out — we’ll flag them at quote stage so there are no surprises.

Bespoke doors or non-stock colours

In-frame ranges (Falconbrook) and hand-painted Shakers (Mollingdon, Maidstone) typically run 10–14 weeks rather than 8–10, because paint cycles and frame assembly take more time in the factory.

Structural work before install

If you’re removing a wall, installing new windows, re-laying a floor or rewiring the room, the install window moves to match your builder’s programme. We coordinate directly with your builder to sequence the work.

Stone worktop availability

Most quartz and granite slabs are in UK stock and template-to-fit in 10–14 days. Specialist slabs (Dekton, Neolith, statement marble) can add 2–4 weeks depending on quarry and finish.

Premium appliance lead times

Miele, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Gaggenau and La Cornue appliances sometimes run 8–12 weeks on their own. We’ll flag this at quote stage and can build around it where possible.

Busy seasons

October–December and May–July are our busiest install windows. Sign-offs in August or January typically get the earliest install slots; Christmas-in-the-new-kitchen customers should sign off by early September.
