Graphite is our most-popular dark modern door — a deep, slightly warm charcoal that reads grey in bright light and almost black at night. It is the colour we fit most often on islands, pantry units and boot-room runs, where you want a strong, grounded anchor in an otherwise light room.
In a Deelux kitchen, Graphite is available as a factory matt, gloss and hand-painted finish, and it suits either modern handleless or traditional Shaker ranges. Within our collection, Graphite appears on ranges including Sensia, Pollino True Handleless and Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint Graphite across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.
Graphite is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify a veined white quartz, a warm oak island top or a concrete-effect Dekton; for handles, brushed brass, matt black or a handleless J-pull; and underfoot, limed oak, large-format pale porcelain or a warm travertine all work well. Graphite is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — most often paired with Porcelain, Cashmere or White for a high-contrast two-tone. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
Every Graphite Deelux kitchen is bespoke — no flat-pack, no off-the-shelf units. Each cabinet is cut, drilled, edged, painted and assembled to your exact plans at our Winsford factory, with 18mm solid backs, screwed (not dowelled) construction, soft-close Blum hinges and our fifteen-year cabinet guarantee. To see Graphite painted up, book a free design visit at our Chester or Warrington showroom — or download the brochure to browse the full collection at home.
Compact modern kitchens start at £7,500 supplied and fitted. Most customers sit between £11,000 and £20,000 for a medium L-shape or island kitchen. Hand-painted in-frame ranges run up to £35,000+.
