Light Grey kitchens from Deelux

Light Grey is a clean, slightly cooler grey than Dove — a touch more silver, a touch less warm — and one of the cleanest neutrals we offer for a modern kitchen. It works especially well in south-facing rooms where a warmer grey can start to look yellow.

In a Deelux kitchen, Light Grey is hand-painted, factory matt and high gloss, and it suits either modern handleless or traditional Shaker ranges. Within our collection, Light Grey appears on ranges including Sensia, Pollino True Handleless and Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint Light Grey across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.

Light Grey is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify a pale quartz, a veined marble-effect Dekton or a warm oak island; for handles, brushed brass, matt black or a handleless J-pull; and underfoot, pale large-format porcelain or a limed-oak plank all work well. Light Grey is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — typically paired with Graphite, Midnight Blue or a deep Fern on the island. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
