Bramley Woodgrain is the bedroom we recommend when you want the warmth and detail of a shaker wardrobe without the heaviness that a wide-frame traditional shaker can bring to a bedroom wall. The frame is narrow and the centre panel is bevelled rather than flat — so the door has the shadow-line interest of a classic shaker, but reads quieter and more contemporary from across the room. The woodgrain texture warms it again up close, giving the surface a tactile, hand-finished feel.

Strong choice for principal bedrooms in period houses, characterful renovations and barn conversions, where you want the wardrobes to settle into the room rather than feel like a plain modern run. Equally at home in newer-build bedrooms paired with linen blinds, panelled walls or a soft-painted feature wall — the woodgrain texture pulls the room together where flat finishes can feel a touch corporate.

Colourways

Seven ex-stock colourways — built on our standard lead — sit within a wider palette of 28+ Paint-to-Order shades, from soft neutrals (White, Chalk, Porcelain, Mussel, Cashmere) through inky deep tones (Ives Blue, Cadet, Carbon) to muted greens (Sage, Olive, Regiment, Copse Green). Three of the most-specified colourways are shown below: Dove Grey, Ives Blue and Porcelain. Bespoke paint-matching to existing wall colours, joinery or a brand reference is available on request — lead time extends by around four to six weeks for bespoke colour. The full palette is on display at our Chester and Warrington showrooms alongside the rest of the Deelux bedroom collection.

Door sizes & specification

Door panels are available in widths from 140 to 715 mm and in heights from short bedside-drawer fronts up to full-height wardrobe doors — floor-to-ceiling without a splice. The 5-piece shaker construction holds its shape across taller doors better than a typical MDF slab, so we recommend Bramley Woodgrain particularly for high-ceiling rooms where wardrobes run to 2.4 m and above. Plinths, cornices, light pelmets and end panels are colour-matched and supplied as standard accessories so the run reads as one piece of furniture.
