White kitchens from Deelux

White is the most asked-for kitchen colour of the last decade — and also the colour we have the strongest opinions about, because not all whites are equal. A Deelux white is specified to suit the room it is going into: cleaner and brighter in a north-facing kitchen, slightly warmer in a south-facing one. It is the most versatile colour we paint.

In a Deelux kitchen, White is hand-painted, factory matt and high-gloss all supported, and it suits either modern handleless or traditional Shaker ranges. Within our collection, White appears on ranges including Sensia, Pollino True Handleless, Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection and Falconbrook In-Frame. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint White across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.

White is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify from a veined marble quartz to a warm oak island — white gives you almost unlimited worktop choice; for handles, brushed brass, matt black, aged nickel or a handleless J-pull; and underfoot, anything from a pale porcelain tile to a reclaimed oak plank all work well. White is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — most commonly combined with a deeper island colour — Graphite, Midnight Blue, Indigo or Fern all work. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
