Built from any of our bedroom ranges
Your walk-in wardrobe is built from the same rigid, Cheshire-made cabinets and finishes as our fitted bedroom ranges — so the door style and colour can match the rest of your room. Pick a look below, or see the full collection.
Bespoke walk-in wardrobes, made and fitted in Cheshire
A walk-in wardrobe turns an awkward box room, loft or the end of a principal bedroom into a calm dressing room you actually want to get ready in. Every Deelux walk-in wardrobe is designed from scratch around your space — we measure the room, work out the best layout, and build each cabinet to the millimetre in our own factory in Winsford. Nothing is flat-pack: our carcasses are screwed, not glued, built rigid, and fitted by our own joiners, never a subcontractor.
Because we make the cabinets ourselves and share the same finish and colour palette as our fitted bedroom ranges and kitchens, your dressing room can be handleless and contemporary or a characterful painted shaker — in the same colourway as the rest of your home. You get a single full quote with no itemised add-ons and no finance pressure: deposit on sign-off, balance on installation.
What goes inside a Deelux walk-in wardrobe
Every walk-in is specified to how you actually store and dress — mix and match the internals below.
Hanging rails
Full-length and double-hung rails for coats, dresses, shirts and trousers, set at heights that suit you — with optional pull-down rails for high runs.
Drawer banks
Soft-close drawers in a range of depths for knitwear, accessories and folded clothing, with optional velvet-lined jewellery and watch inserts.
Shoe storage
Angled shelving, pull-out racks and cubbies sized for everything from trainers to heeled boots.
Open shelving
Adjustable shelving for bags, hats and folded stacks, with glass-front or display sections to show off favourite pieces.
Integrated lighting
LED rail and shelf lighting, sensor-activated options and a mirror station so colours read true while you dress.
Island & seating
For larger dressing rooms, a central island with drawers and a stone or timber top, plus a built-in dressing bench.
Walk-in wardrobe layouts for any room
From a small box-room conversion to a full principal-suite dressing room, the layout is designed around your space — here are the most common shapes.
Small & box-room
A compact single-run or reach-in design that turns a small box room or alcove into a tidy, fully-used dressing space.
L-shaped
Storage worked around two walls — ideal for the corner of a principal bedroom or a square box room.
U-shaped
Three walls of hanging, drawers and shelving for maximum capacity in a dedicated dressing room.
Galley
Two facing runs with a walkway between — an efficient layout for narrow rooms and loft conversions.
Loft & attic
Storage built into the eaves and around sloping ceilings, making full use of awkward low headroom.
Island dressing room
An open layout with a central island, mirror station and display shelving for larger principal suites.
Doors, finishes & door styles
Walk-in wardrobes can be left open for a boutique dressing-room look, or closed off with hinged or sliding doors to keep dust out and the bedroom calm. Whichever you choose, the finish is taken from the same palette as our fitted bedroom ranges — from soft-touch matte handleless slabs to characterful painted shaker and beaded frames. Doors are hand-painted by our trade door partners or supplied as a durable laminated finish, so the colour and door style can run right through your home.
How much does a walk-in wardrobe cost?
Every walk-in is bespoke, so the price depends on the size of the room and what goes inside it. As a guide:
A compact box-room or reach-in walk-in with rails, drawers and shelving, supplied and fitted.
A full L- or U-shaped dressing room with floor-to-ceiling storage, drawer banks, shoe storage and lighting.
Island dressing rooms, glass-front display and characterful in-frame painted ranges.
All prices are supplied and fitted by our own joiners and quoted as a single full quote — no itemised add-ons, no finance, no APR. Deposit on sign-off, balance on installation.

Common questions
How much does a walk-in wardrobe cost?
A compact box-room walk-in starts at £4,200 supplied and fitted. Most customers sit between £6,000 and £12,000 for a full L- or U-shaped dressing room with floor-to-ceiling storage, drawers, shoe storage and lighting. Island dressing rooms and in-frame painted ranges run higher. Every walk-in is bespoke, so we quote on the room.
How much space do I need for a walk-in wardrobe?
You can fit a single-run reach-in walk-in into a space around 1.5m wide, and a comfortable U-shaped dressing room from about 2m × 2m. We regularly convert small box rooms, loft eaves and the end of a principal bedroom — the design is worked around whatever space you have.
Can I have a walk-in wardrobe without doors?
Yes. Many customers leave the walk-in open for a boutique dressing-room look. You can also close it off with hinged or sliding doors to keep dust out — we’ll talk through both at the design visit.
Where are your walk-in wardrobes made?
Every cabinet is built in our own factory in Winsford, Cheshire — the same makers as our kitchens and bedrooms. Cabinets are screwed not glued, built rigid (not flat-pack), and fitted in-house by our own joiners. Doors are hand-painted by our trade door partners or supplied as a laminated finish.
Do you offer finance?
No. Deelux does not offer finance, credit or monthly payments. You get a single full quote — deposit on sign-off, balance on delivery and installation, with no APR and no upsell pressure.
How long from order to installation?
Typically 8–10 weeks for our standard ranges from signed order to installed walk-in. Bespoke colourways or in-frame painted builds can extend by 4–6 weeks.
