Bramley Beaded — Painted beaded shaker
Fitted bedroom range
Painted beaded shaker fitted wardrobes for period homes and characterful interiors.
Bramley Beaded is the bedroom range to specify when you want the wardrobes to feel like proper joinery — furniture that belongs in the room rather than fitted units sitting against the wall. The beaded shaker profile (with the bead set inside the centre panel rather than along the outer frame) reads as a more characterful, tailored detail than a plain shaker; up close it catches light along the inner edge of every door and lends the run a quiet rhythm.
Strong choice for period homes — Edwardian and Victorian terraces, Georgian townhouses, Cheshire farmhouses, and converted barn bedrooms — where a flat slab or handleless rail would feel jarring against original cornices, picture rails and panelled doors. Equally at home in transitional new-builds where you want a hint of traditional detail without committing to a full shaker scheme. The beaded face carries deeper colourways well, so shades like Hartforth Blue or Graphite take on a satisfying depth that flatter doors flatten out.
Two ex-stock colourways — Dove Grey and Porcelain — built on our standard lead. The wider Paint-to-Order palette includes the additional shades shown here (Cashmere, Light Grey, Mussel, Hartforth Blue, Dust Grey, Graphite) and a full painted range beyond — produced in batches to your specific run, with bespoke colour-match adding around four to six weeks to the total lead. The full range of door samples is on display at our Chester and Warrington showrooms. Paint-matching to a Farrow & Ball or Little Greene reference is available on request — useful when you want the wardrobes to disappear into a feature paint colour on the bedroom walls.
Door panels are available in widths of 297, 397, 447, 497, 597 and 697 mm and in heights from 140 mm bedside-drawer fronts up to 2250 mm full-height wardrobe doors — floor-to-ceiling without a splice joint. Matching plinths (100, 150 or 200 mm), cornices, light pelmets and end panels are colour-matched and supplied as standard accessories so the wardrobe run reads as a single piece of furniture rather than a stack of cabinets. Interior fittings (hanging rails, drawer banks, soft-close shoe cubbies, internal LED lighting) are specified per-cabinet at the design stage.
The most-specified Bramley Beaded colourways shown below. The full palette — including the made-to-order range — is available to view at our Chester and Warrington showrooms.
