Cashmere kitchens from Deelux

Cashmere is one of the most-specified Deelux colours for good reason — it is a soft, warm off-white with a whisper of taupe, and it sits comfortably against almost any worktop, floor or handle. If you are torn between cream and grey, or worry that pure white will feel clinical, Cashmere is usually the answer.

In a Deelux kitchen, Cashmere is available in factory matt, high gloss and as a hand-painted finish, and it suits either modern handleless or traditional Shaker ranges. Within our collection, Cashmere appears on ranges including Sensia, Pollino True Handleless, Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection and Falconbrook In-Frame. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint Cashmere across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.

Cashmere is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify warm white quartz, honed oak, Dekton Kira or a sandstone-tone Silestone; for handles, brushed brass, aged nickel or a simple matt black T-bar; and underfoot, oak-effect LVT, tumbled limestone or a large-format warm-grey porcelain all work well. Cashmere is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — works especially well paired with a deeper tone such as Graphite or Midnight Blue on the island. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
