Dove Grey kitchens from Deelux

Dove Grey is one of our most-painted colours — a pale, quiet, slightly cool grey that behaves almost as a neutral. It is gentle enough to fit a cottage Shaker kitchen and clean enough to carry a handleless modern run, which is why it appears so often across both traditional and contemporary Deelux builds.

In a Deelux kitchen, Dove Grey is hand-painted, factory matt and high gloss, and it suits either modern handleless or traditional Shaker ranges. Within our collection, Dove Grey appears on ranges including Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection, Sensia, Pollino True Handleless and Falconbrook In-Frame. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint Dove Grey across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.

Dove Grey is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify a warm white quartz, honed oak or a pale concrete-effect Dekton; for handles, brushed brass, aged nickel or a handleless J-pull; and underfoot, oak-effect plank, pale limestone or a large-format porcelain all work well. Dove Grey is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — pairs naturally with Graphite, Midnight Blue or a deeper green on the island. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
