Dust Grey is a deep, slightly warm mid-grey — softer and less stark than Graphite, with a more pigmented quality than our lighter greys. It is the grey we recommend most often when a client wants the kitchen to feel substantial and considered, without reading as dark.
In a Deelux kitchen, Dust Grey is hand-painted, factory matt and gloss, and it suits either modern handleless or traditional Shaker ranges. Within our collection, Dust Grey appears on ranges including Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection, Sensia, Pollino True Handleless and Falconbrook In-Frame. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint Dust Grey across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.
Dust Grey is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify a warm white quartz, honed oak or a slightly veined Silestone; for handles, brushed brass, aged pewter or matt black; and underfoot, wide-plank oak, limestone or a warm porcelain all work well. Dust Grey is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — pairs well with Porcelain, Cashmere or a deeper Midnight Blue island. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
Every Dust Grey Deelux kitchen is bespoke — no flat-pack, no off-the-shelf units. Each cabinet is cut, drilled, edged, painted and assembled to your exact plans at our Winsford factory, with 18mm solid backs, screwed (not dowelled) construction, soft-close Blum hinges and our fifteen-year cabinet guarantee. To see Dust Grey painted up, book a free design visit at our Chester or Warrington showroom — or download the brochure to browse the full collection at home.
Compact modern kitchens start at £7,500 supplied and fitted. Most customers sit between £11,000 and £20,000 for a medium L-shape or island kitchen. Hand-painted in-frame ranges run up to £35,000+.
