Bramley Smooth is the bedroom we recommend for clients who want shaker detailing but not the country-cottage look. The frame is narrowed down from the traditional shaker proportions so the door reads quietly contemporary, and the centre panel is flat — no bead, no chamfer — for a clean shadow line where a busier shaker would carry too much detail in a bedroom run. The smooth matt finish absorbs light rather than bouncing it back, so a full wardrobe wall settles into the room instead of pulling the eye.
Strong choice for principal bedrooms where the architecture is a mix of old and new — period properties with replacement glazing, modern extensions on Victorian shells, soft-grey or warm-white interiors where a high-gloss finish would feel out of place. The Cashmere and Porcelain shades sit beautifully with chalky wallpapers and panelled walls; Dove Grey and Taupe Grey lend more depth when the wardrobes face a busy aspect.
Mirrored doors and full-height runs
Any door in the Bramley Smooth elevation can be specified with a mirrored centre panel — the shaker frame stays put, the inset changes. We use this routinely on the central pair of a four- or six-door run to bounce daylight back into rooms with a single-window aspect, without resorting to a freestanding cheval or a separate mirror cabinet. Doors are available in full-height variants so floor-to-ceiling wardrobe runs sit without a splice line through the elevation.

Four stocked colourways — Porcelain, Cashmere, Dove Grey and Taupe Grey — ship on our standard lead.
