Maybury Beaded is our heaviest home office shaker — a deeper frame profile and a bolder bead detail give every door more presence than the lighter Bramley. The kind of door we recommend when the home office is the focal room of a period property and needs to feel architectural rather than decorative.
Strong choice for grade II listed buildings, Georgian and early-Victorian townhouses, country houses and any room where the workspace shares walls with original mouldings, picture rails or panelled wainscoting. Door specification
Five-piece solid timber frame with a deep bead profile run on the inside edge. Centre panel is furniture-grade MDF, rebated into the frame. Doors are 18 mm thick, hand-painted and fitted to 18 mm rigid Deelux carcasses with Blum 110° soft-close hinges. The bead detail catches light differently from across the room than a standard shaker, giving Maybury Beaded a distinct character at distance.
