Haxby is the bedroom range to specify when a room needs the calm of a Shaker but the proportion of something more modern. The frame around each panel is deliberately narrow — closer to a contemporary inset than a traditional country Shaker — so the door reads as quiet detail rather than statement joinery. Painted in a smooth matt finish that takes light softly, it works equally well in a Georgian sash-window principal bedroom and a new-build that wants something gentler than a slab.

The strongest argument for Haxby is its breadth of palette. Six ex-stock colourways cover the everyday neutrals (White, Chalk, Mussel, Taupe Grey, Stone) and there’s a deeper made-to-order range of greys, warm browns and inky blues if you want the wardrobes to anchor the room. We often spec it as a two-tone scheme — tall wardrobe runs in a calm neutral, bedside drawers and dressing-table runs in a warmer accent (Truffle, Pimento, Hartforth Blue) — for the kind of considered, layered feel a single colour can’t reach.

Colourways

Six ex-stock colourways — White, Chalk, Mussel, Taupe Grey, Stone and Cashmere — ship from our Winsford factory on a standard lead. The made-to-order palette extends to deeper greys (Dust Grey, Slate, Graphite, Carbon), warm browns (Truffle, Fawn, Malbec), greens (Sage, Olive, Copse Green) and blues (Hartforth Blue, Storm, Ives Blue), and we can colour-match to any RAL, NCS or paint-reference shade via Paint-to-Order. The full palette is on display at Chester and Warrington, alongside our other bedroom ranges and a full-size kitchen showroom for cross-room colour matching.

Door sizes & specification

Door panels run in standard heights from short bedside-drawer fronts up to full-height wardrobe doors — floor-to-ceiling in a single piece on standard ceilings, with bespoke add-ons available where the head-height demands it. Plinths, cornices, scribes and end panels are colour-matched and supplied as standard accessories, so the run reads as one piece of joinery rather than a stack of cabinets. Glazed doors and outline integrated handles are available where the design calls for them.
