Grey is our catch-all, factory-finished mid-grey door — a neutral, unfussy grey that sits between Dove and Dust. It is the door we specify most often when a client wants "a grey kitchen" without a specific tonal preference.
In a Deelux kitchen, Grey is factory matt, high gloss and hand-painted, and it suits either modern handleless or traditional Shaker ranges. Within our collection, Grey appears on ranges including Sensia, Pollino True Handleless and Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint Grey across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.
Grey is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify a veined white quartz, honed oak or a pale Dekton; for handles, brushed brass, matt black or handleless; and underfoot, engineered oak or a pale porcelain all work well. Grey is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — pairs with Porcelain, Cashmere or a deeper-tone island. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
Every Grey Deelux kitchen is bespoke — no flat-pack, no off-the-shelf units. Each cabinet is cut, drilled, edged, painted and assembled to your exact plans at our Winsford factory, with 18mm solid backs, screwed (not dowelled) construction, soft-close Blum hinges and our fifteen-year cabinet guarantee.
