Ivory kitchens from Deelux

Ivory is a crisper, cleaner take on cream — still warm, but with less yellow, so it feels lighter in the room. It is a good middle ground for anyone who likes the warmth of a cream Shaker kitchen but wants something a little more current.

In a Deelux kitchen, Ivory is hand-painted in-house and available across our Shaker collections, and it suits a traditional Shaker kitchen. Within our collection, Ivory appears on ranges including Brackenbury Oak & Painted Collection, Falconbrook In-Frame and Deedale. Because every cabinet is built and finished at our own Winsford factory in Cheshire, we can paint Ivory across the full collection — including on bespoke larder, pantry and island designs that are not on the standard range page.

Ivory is a colour that rewards careful pairing. For worktops, we usually specify a warm white quartz, timber island or Silestone in Desert Silver; for handles, brushed brass, ceramic knobs or a slim T-bar in aged pewter; and underfoot, oak-effect wide-plank flooring or a honed limestone all work well. Ivory is also very commonly chosen as a two-tone — often paired with a deeper tone such as Mussel, Stone or Midnight Blue on the island. Your designer will bring door, worktop and handle samples to your consultation so you can see the combinations in hand before committing.
